LUMBERTON – Eva Willoughby Bowen, 95, passed away on April 18, 2014, at Southeastern Hospice House of Lumberton.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Floyd Memorial Chapel, Pastor Allan Admire officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Cemetery.
She was born on Jan. 9, 1919, in Dillon, S.C.
Eva was also preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charlie Livingston Bowen; three brothers, Ernest, Fred, and Yates Willoughby; and two sisters, Annabelle Willoughby and Bernice W. Barnes.
She is survived by two sons, Wayne Bowen and wife Jeanette of Clinton, Tenn., and Ralph Bowen Sr. and wife Beth of Lumberton; two granddaughters, Lori Worthing and husband David of Middletown, Pa., and Lee Bowen Muckenfuss and husband Mike of Ash; three grandsons, Michael Bowen and wife Allison of Kernersville, Scott Bowen and wife Dena of Cary, and Ralph Bowen Jr. and wife Teresa of Clayton; three brothers, Wilber, Braxton, and Furman Willoughby; a special sister-in-law, Lillian B. Davis of Pinehurst; and a host of family and friends.
The family will receive visitors from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory Inc.
