Tommie Hatcher

PEMBROKE — Mr. Tommie Hatcher of Pembroke passed away on May 16, 2014.

The funeral was held on Wednesday evening at 8 p.m. at Revels Funeral Home Chapel in Pembroke. Burial will follow at a later date.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lacy Brewer and Maggie Hatcher; four sisters Clara Ann Hatcher, Verlie Bowman, Herlin Nabarette and Merdis Wilkins; and a brother, Haynes Locklear.

Mr. Hatcher is survived by his daughter, Renee M. Hatcher of Pembroke; and two sons, Christopher S. Hatcher and Thomas A. Hatcher, both of Pembroke.

He leaves three granddaughters that he cherished with all his heart, Caroline Hatcher, Taylor Edwards and Erin Hatcher, all of Pembroke; four sisters, Janice Hatcher Bullard (Gene) of Prospect and Doris Arnold of Pembroke, Elouise Hunt (Edgar) of St. Claries, Mich., and Girtha Locklear of Greensboro; two brothers Clyde Hatcher (Judy) of Rowland, and Maurice Locklear (Catherine) of Lumberton. He also leaves the mothers of his children, Marie Hunt and Lucille Oxendine; his special friends, Miriam Oxendine, Phillip Oxendine, Harold Sparks, Boyce Maynor and Melvin and Connie Lowry; and a host of family and friends.

The family received friends on Wednesday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. at Revels Funeral Home in Pembroke.
