WHITEVILLE — Charles Warwick, 78, of Whiteville, formerly of Lumberton, went to be with the Lord on July 19, 2014, at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Lifecare Center in Whiteville.
Final rites will be held at 7 p.m. today at Worthington Funeral Home, the Revs. Allen Strickland and Carroll Fonvielle officiating. Interment will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Meadow Brooke Cemetery in Lumberton, the Rev. Ray Yow officiating.
He was the son of the late Henry and Sally Holmes Warwick. He was preceded in death by his son, Kent Yarbrough; and two siblings, Clyde Warwick and Viola Furtado.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Joyce Sellers Yarbrough-Warwick of the home; his sons, William Charles Warwick, Robert Warwick, the Rev. Michel Warwick, all of Lumberton, and Timothy Yarbrough of Goldsboro; and a sister, Myrtle Evans of Shannon.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today two hours before the service at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn.
