LUMBERTON — Ralph Singletary, 91, died July 23, 2014, at Southeastern Hospice House.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Floyd Memorial Chapel, the Rev. Joe Bounds officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
Mr. Singletary was born April 18, 1923, in Bladen County. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Clementine Kinlaw Singletary; his parents, Minnie and Frank Singletary; three sisters; and four brothers.
Surviving are his daughter, Linda Barker of Raleigh; a sister, Edna Hall of Tar Heel; a brother-in-law, Milton L. Kinlaw and his wife Alice Ray of Lumberton; a sister-in-law, Alda Kinlaw of Lumberton; two granddaughters, Kelli Holmes Gunn and Blair Barker Moore and a great-grandson, Jackson Holmes, all of Dallas, Texas; and special friends, Nancy and Clint Sealey and Betty and Joe Brum.
The family extends great appreciation to the kind staff and caregivers at Woodhaven Nursing Center and Southeastern Hospice House.
The family will receive friends at 2 p.m. Sunday at Floyd's Mortuary & Crematory Inc.
