Melissa Locklear
PEMBROKE — Mrs. Melissa Louise Locklear, 38, of Pembroke, was born Sept. 27, 1976 in Greenville, S.C. She left her earthly life to go to her eternal home on Jan. 23, 2015.
The funeral will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at Mission Church, the Revs. Crites Oxendine and Alonzo Oxendine officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Mrs. Patricia A. Penland and Mr. Lanis K. Frazier.
Mrs. Locklear was a member of The Mission Church since 1994.
Mrs. Locklear is survived by her husband, Mr. Dwayne Locklear of Pembroke; a daughter, Patricia (Josh) Jacobs of Pembroke; a son, Mr. Jacob Locklear of Pembroke; her grandson, Landon P. Jacobs of Pembroke; two sisters, Venita Frazier of Pembroke, and Crystal Frazier Tracey of Pennsylvania; and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. today at Revels Funeral Home Pembroke. Online condolences may be made at www.revelsfh.com
