Bob, you are and always be my best friend. How can I forget going golfing in Portugal with Ole King Dog and Maitai, our first ever meal that put the whole family to work whipping whip cream and watch 16mm films at your house while King Dog swam in the pool. Good memories but most important was that you were there and we enjoyed ourself. We know you are in Heavan with God looking down on that that great grin of yours. We love you and will always have you by my side.

Colonel, not a day goes by that I haven't heard what a huge impact you had on my husband Anthony head. He respected you more than words can describe, and because of the great man and teacher you were, your teachings have helped make him a better man. Thank you and your precious family for years of devotion. God definitely brought home some strength. Prayers to your family.

Colonel -- my family will forever be grateful to you for all that you did for my daughter, Sarah, during her time in JROTC at C.B.Aycock High. You took care of my little girl when she most needed someone -- now God is taking care of you. Rest in eternal peace, Colonel -- you will be missed!
