I remember as a child visiting my Aunt Doris and her taking our family to the lake to swim and picnic. I also enjoyed her big home and visiting there. Rest in peace Aunt Doris.

I was Doris and Roland's neighbor at Willow Oaks in Rocky Mount, NC and loved them both. I lost track of Doris after she moved to Henderson following Roland's death. Doris and Roland, both, were dear friends and like my parents away from home.
