NASHVILLE - Richard "Lee" Hagan of Nashville, NC passed away surrounded by the love of his family on July 17, 2013 at UNC Memorial Hospital. He was born on November 22, 1970. He grew up in the Northgreen neighborhood and was known by many. He was a delight to all that had the opportunity to meet him. He graduated from Northern Nash High School in 1989.
He later went into the Navy and served two years. Lee became a father to a wonderful daughter Amy that he cherished and loved very much. He truly was the "Best Dad Ever". He was employed by Eye America and loved his job. Lee enjoyed playing golf and played right before he went into the hospital. Lee was a joker and he enjoyed sharing his sense of humor with others. In just a few short years Lee lived life to the fullest. His love of life, family and friends showed how good of a person he was.
Lee is survived by his father, Jimmy Hagan (Judy), his Mother Evelyn Arrington (Jimmy), Daughter Amy Hagan, Aunt Ginger Stephenson, God-Mother Pam Jones (Tom) and several uncles, aunts, and numerous cousins. Those who preceded him in death were his grandparents Bruce and Hazel Hagan and Lee Roy and Virginia Boley.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Cornerstone Funeral Home at 11:00 am. Visitation will follow the service.
