William Roger Peele

ROCKY MOUNT - I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race and I have kept the faith, I Timothy 4:7. William Roger Peele, 92, passed August 9, 2018.

He was born in Wilson County to the late John Vernon Peele Sr and Mamie Wells Peele. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by three "children"Angela, Smokey and Tiffany; his brother John Vernon Peele Jr. and sisters Ruby P.Williams and Gretchen P. Whitaker.

He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Nellie Peele; sister Mildred Peele Morris

(Shorty); brother in law John C. Coats, Jr. and sister in law Shirley S. Coats; several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

As he wished there will be no visitation and the service and entombment will be private.
