In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to TASS, 412 Main St., Tarboro or the First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1556, Tarboro.
The family will receive friends at Carlisle Funeral Home Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.

I know there is nothing anyone can say to ease your pain at a time like this, but please know that there are many whose hearts and prayers go out to you in your time of sorrow. I didn't know Mr. Keel, but I have heard many wonderful things about him in the past few days from lawyers he has worked with and known. May God watch over you and comfort you and your family during this time.

To Mr. Keel's family and the law firm: I'm so very sorry to hear the sad news of Mr. Keel's passing. He gave me a job when I needed one, and the experience and knowledge I gained during those years was because of him and was more than I could have predicted. I hope you find the time to go through the many personal videos and pictures he loved to take so that you can see his life through his eyes. God bless you!

Jimmie was a rare man and will truly be missed for his caring of everyone. He meant a lot to my father(Claude Paramore) and was a very strong supporting man when my father passed. I am so glad I knew him. I know he is talking hunting with his dad and mine now.

To the family of Jimmie, I have been so saddened ever since I heard of his untimely death. He was so kind and caring to our family in such a difficult time of our lives.It was obvious he loved his job as much as he loved fishing. I recall Bennie and Jimmie sharing lots of fishing stories. He will always hold a special place in our hearts and memories. We have such fond memories of him playing with Chad, always seeming like he loved him as if he was his own child.
