Fred Beentjes
Frederick Marinus Beentjes, 88, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2018 after a full, and wonderful life. Fred is survived by his wife Joann, after 68 years of marriage. son Richard (Tonia), son Jack (Steve), daughter Patricia (John) Thornton. daughter Debra, 10 grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Known to many as "Dutch", Fred was a World War II veteran, he worked for Auburn Iron Works and PCWA until his retirement. Fred was a wonderful, funny, kind father, husband and friend. He will be sorely missed, but is reunited with his son Robert. A funeral service will be held on 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at St. Teresa Catholic Church at 11600 Atwood Rd. Auburn, California 95603.

I knew Dutch when I worked for Pcwa in the 1980's,he is and was a really nice person.We had good times working together.Dutch taught me a lot of knowledge at pcwa.Rest In Peace Dutch.My sympathy goes out to the Beentjes Family.

Mr. Beentjes was and his sweet wife were some of my favorite customers when I worked at Raleys years ago. Fred was such a kind man. Condolences to the family.
