Orville James Jennings of Auburn, California passed away September 15, 2012.
Born on December 2, 1939 in Ava Missouri; Orville was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend.
Orville was married to Linda Kaye Jennings on Jan 18, 1969 and was widowed in May of 1999 when Linda passed away.
He is survived by his daughter, Tami Lynne Sumrall and his son, Brian James Jennings.
Orville was an avid fisherman, hunter, woodworker, and pool player. He also enjoyed taking road trips, spending time with his grandsons; Tyler and Bryce, and playing with his grand-dog; Cisco. He was also a firm believer in prayer and faith in God and it was evident to everyone that knew him.
Orville served in the US Navy from 1958 to 1962. He worked as a serviceman at several pest control companies around the Sacramento valley and also owned and ran a small pest control company until he retired in 2009.
He will be greatly missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing and loving him.
A public memorial service in celebration of his life will be held on October 6, 2012 at 1 p.m. Canyon View Assembly – 23221 Foresthill Road. Foresthill, Ca.

Our deepest condolences to you Brian, Tami, and family. Orville was such a wonderful, godly man who definitley left an beautiful imprint on the hearts of all who knew him. We are so thankful to have had the blessing of calling him our friend. He will be greatly missed. We love you and are praying for the Lord to comfort your broken hearts.
