Born in Webbers Falls Oklahoma in 1935 to Earl and Minnie Larrew. The Family came to McFarland California in 1943.
He married Harriette Smith and they had Melanie, Ken, Susan, and Nancy. Grandchildren Jason, Jarod, Krysteen, and Patricia. Great-grandchildren, Austin, Marcus, Cannon, Cade and Gage. All of whom survive him and will miss him greatly as well as his brother, David and sister, Aileen.
Clyde joined the Air Force in 1954 and served as an aircraft Mechanic and Crew Chief on the RB57 bomber at Shaw Air Force base, Sumter, South Carolina.
Returning to California he worked for the Bureau of Reclamation for 27 years. Shortly after retiring he met and married Judith White and together they renovated a 1860-'s Victorian in Knightstown, Indiana. The Lavender Lady was open for several years. Returning to California they renovated a 1850's cabin in Foresthill and it became The Tin Roof B & B.
Clyde was like a Dad to Judith's children Kelly, Kurt and Kari. And he was Grandpa to Luke, Emily, Molly, Sierra, Maci, Chynna and Marqui. And to great-grandson Drew. All of whom survive and will forever remember him.
When Clyde was given the diagnosis of advanced lung cancer he decided not to spend one day in a Drs office and he didn't. He was given six months to live, he lived 30 months. His days were filled with camping trips, zip-lining and traveling. He had the courage to live each day he had left and he did.
His memorial service will be October 13, 2012 at 11 a.m. at The Pioneer Methodist Church 1338 Lincoln Way, Auburn Calif.
Following the service Clyde's favorite lunch of beans and cornbread will be served at Paul Brockers 164 Team Track. Clyde's favorite garage.
