Ernestine "Skip" Temple

Ernestine Beth (Ring) Temple, dubbed Skipper by her Dad, transcended this life October 26, 2013 after a valiant 4 year battle against Myelodysplastic Syndrome. She was surrounded by her loving family at the time of her passing.
Born in San Francisco July 21, 1942, she was raised in Auburn, and lived most of her adult life in Colfax. At the age of twelve she fell for the boy next door, Larry Temple. She loved him so much, she married him twice. They made their home in Fernley, Nev., and later in Checotah Okla.
An excellent pool player, she won many trophy's playing against other teams in Colfax. She loved to play cards and board games. She especially enjoyed dinning out with her husband Larry.
Skip was proceeded in death by parents, Anna Beth (Jones) Newell and Ernest Ring; sister, Nancy Newell; daughter, Robin Temple; and grandson, Brandon Temple. She is survived by her devoted husband, Larry Temple; daughter, Brenda Dolbee; sons, Chuck and Craig Temple and Dwayne Lloyd; sisters, Bonnie Brogan, Penny Arant, Lorrie Goulet, Cyndy Bray, Pam and Kelly (Ring) Orsolini; brothers, Ronald Knittle and Daniel (Ring) Orsolini; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and four doting little dogs.
Services will be held at Lambert Funeral Home, 400 Douglas Blvd. Roseville Calif. at 10 a.m. November 2, 2013.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking donations be made to the Leukemia Research Foundation or
"Rest peacefully now, your pain is gone. You and your beautiful smile will forever be missed. We love you!"
