Lois V. Bohn
1/6/1934 - 4/5/2013
Lois grew up in Menlo Park, California at the height of the depression, raised by her mother since her father died shortly after she was born. She and her two brother shared a tiny one bedroom home. She babysat and learned to play the piano. She was able to graduate from grade school and San Jose College. She began teaching first through third grades. First in East Palo Alto and finally Cupertino, California while raising her three children. A devoted mother to her own children and the school children she taught.
She moved from Menlo Park to Santa Clara to Cupertino and then to Loomis in 1990. She continued to help as a teacher locally. She enjoyed her travels to Hawaii and the Western United States. She loved her house and particularly enjoyed gardening.
Of all the holidays, Christmas was special for her and she decorated the outside of the house with many many lights and Christmas ornaments.
Lois is survived by her husband, Warren; son, Larry; daughters, Linda and Robin; son-in-laws, Eddie and Mark; sister-in-law, Diane; daughter-in-law, Darlene; grandchildren: Michael, Sean, Danelle, Leesa, Jennifer, Anthony and great-grandchildren, Kailyn and Gianni.
Lois was the head of a very close family and her departure leaves a very large void in our lives. We shall miss her so very much.
