Lorene (Renie) Graetz Koch

Lorene, a resident of the Auburn area in the 1940's and 1950's, passed away after a short illness.
She is deeply loved and survived by sons Ron, Rich, Don, Mike and Dave, sister Barbara Graetz Lewelling, brother Raymond Graetz, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was born in San Francisco. Her early years were spent in the Placer foothills near Auburn during the time her father worked as a miner. She then moved to Auburn where she graduated from Placer High School in 1948.
Lorene spent the last 37 years of her life in the Victor Valley area of Southern California. She was a homemaker, Air Force wife, color consultant and also worked at the Roy Rogers Museum in Victorville.
Lorene was a devoted mother, and always showed unconditional love to her family and friends. She will be remembered for her infectious laugh, sense of humor, adventurous spirit and her joy of life. She will be greatly missed.
Services will be held at the Auburn District Cemetery.
