La Verne resident, Mary Louise Weston passed away after a brief illness on October 6, 2012 at Kaiser Ontario Medical Center. She was 82. Mrs. Mary Weston (Noel) was born in Los Angeles on February 19 1930 and resided in Los Angeles, Loomis and most recently La Verne. She graduated from Woodbury College in Los Angeles, where she met her husband John and they were married in 1951. She was a home maker, receptionist for Red Carpet Reality in Highland Park, then after returning to school in 1978, she entered the medical field as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. In her retirement years she tutored English as a second language for students at H. Clarke Powers Elementary School in Loomis Calif., and was a volunteer at the McKinley Children's Center in San Dimas.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years John Wayne Weston Jr., in 1992. She is survived by her children, John (Linda) Weston of Columbia, Steve (Janie) Weston of Pioneer, Denyse (Jeff) Meyer of Rialto and Jennifer (Don) Weeks of Fallbrook; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be held November 10, 2012 at 2 p.m. at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church 4450 Granite Dr. Rocklin CA 95677. A reception celebrating Mary's life will immediately follow. A Donation in her name may be made to the McKinley Children's Center in San Dimas Calif.
