Olive Lorraine Percy

Mom was born August 1, 1919 in Elgin, Illinois and passed away on August 28, 2012. She grew up in Illinois and married her husband of 67 years, Bud Percy. In 1946 they moved to Sacramento, then to Washington D.C and retired in Green Valley, Arizona in 1979. She moved to Folsom in 2005 and enjoyed life to the fullest with her Diamond Glen friends.
Over the years, she was involved in Sacramento Tuesday Club, Sacramento Easter Seal Society, P.T.A., Green Valley Elks Wives Club and many other organizations.
She is survived by her son Gary (Joyce) of Folsom, granddaughters Roxanne Cornileson, Kelli Sardo and Marci Madore, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Preceeded in death by her husband, Bud; daughters, Nancy Berry and Bonnie Potter and granddaughter Sandra Berry.
Our thanks to Dr. Michael Gaddini, her physician and friend for his compassionate care while she lived in Folsom. Also, the Snowline Hospices staff, expecially Kristin Alberts, RN, for the loving care she was given during the last few months of her life.
