William Len Dean "Len"
All Soul's Day
Born in Hermosa Beach, Len Dean graduated from West High School in Torrance in 1977. He toured with a musical singing group in the summer after his high school graduation, enlisting in the USAF subsequently. He served four years in the USAF with posts in Europe, offering also a chance to travel. Len was a skilled commercial electrician working for Northern Calif. companies on large-scale projects, including, in part, at Folsom Prison and the Folsom Aquatic Center underwater sound system. When Len wasn't spending time with his family or watching their kids' sports games, he enjoyed time fishing, target shooting, and motorcycle riding. Len was an avid RC hobbyist, and he was a very talented musician with a beautiful singing voice.
Len had many friends and a large family who loved him very much. He was a good family man, and he loved his children and his family immensely. He is survived by: his son, William Griffin Dean 18, his daughter Madilen Rose Dean 15, and their mother, Heather Rose Dean; and her extended families, the Sacramento-Elk Grove-Davis McCarthy Families, the Walthall-McCarthy Family in Seattle, Wash.; and, Len's mother Judy Dean and sisters Kathy and Anna, and families, in Southern Calif. and Florida.
November 2, All Soul's Day: Jesus, dear Savior, on this day we prayerfully remember our loves ones who have died. Please give them comfort and hope and may they be at peace, knowing that they will rest in God's arms eternally. Thank you for the memories of them and the good times we shared. We ask you, please, through their intercession, to deepen our faith, strengthen our hope, increase our love that we, too, may someday stand before You, ready to enter Your Holy Kingdom. Amen.
