Alice Calhoun Obituary

Alice Calhoun, born on January 24, 1906 in Chicago, Illinois, the youngest of four siblings, passed away on September 25, 2010 in Roseville, Calif., at the age of 104 years.
A long time Roseville resident, having moved there in 1959, Alice was an Insurance Secretary for many years.
She was preceded in death by her cherished husband of 69 years, Duane in 1994. Alice is survived by her family, Lorraine and Doreen Cameron of Kentucky.
On Sunday October 3, 2010 friends and family are invited to a visitation from 1 to 4 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home Chapel, 400 Douglas Blvd., Roseville, Calif., Graveside services will be held on Monday October 4, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Sylvan District Cemetery 7401 Auburn Blvd., Citrus Heights, Calif. Our family used to live on Livoti, near the Calhouns back in 1959/60. They treated us like we were their own grandchildren! We got birthday and Christmas gifts from this wonderful couple, usually silver dollars. I still think of them fondly all these years later. I am so sad to hear of their passing.
