Alasdair Charleson Obituary

Alasdair Conal Charleson
8/3/1969 - 9/29/2010

Alasdair was called to be with our precious Lord on Wednesday, September 29, 2010.
He was a devoted and loving husband to Cheryl Charleson, was a beloved son to Alasdair "Sandy" Charleson and Joy Charleson, sister Fiona Tuttle and brother Ian Charleson, son in law Robert Tuttle and sister in law Karen Twyford, a loving uncle to Spencer and Keaten Tuttle and niece Brittany Craker, a wonderful step father to Becky Klingensmith and Lisa Rowland and a beloved grandpa to Colby and Kaden-Paul Klingensmith.
Alasdair loved his friends and family so much. He also loved the outdoors, camping, jeeping and fishing with his wife, friends, brother and nephews. He also enjoyed and loved all the time he spent with his dogs and cats at his home.
He will truly be missed by all who knew him. We will all hold him dear to our hearts and love you very much.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, please give any contributions to the National Diabetes Assoc. or the charity of your choice. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.

We were shocked and saddened to hear of Alisdair's death. We met him when we lived in Colonial Village several years back and then, after we moved, we would see him around town every once in awhile. Always upbeat, pleasant, and wearing a smile. To Cheryl, whom we have not had the pleasure of meeting yet, our thoughts and prayers are with you as you mourn. Praying God will bring you great peace and comfort in the days, weeks and months ahead.

I went to Flour Garden today knowing I wouldn't see Alasdair there again. I'm so saddened by this loss. I met Alasdair when I was a teenager working at Le Bean Cuisine. He was one of my favorite customers...always so nice and happy. We became friends. He was a timeless friend...one whom you didn't need to see or keep in touch with on a day to day basis to remain friends. Alasdair was always so smiley and happy to see me when we bumped into each other in various places over the years and vice versa. I feel fortunate that I was recently able to share one of those "for old times sake" moments with him. I truly will miss this man.

I also cannot believe Alasdair has left us. He was my friend, enemy on the pool table, brother in Christ, and honorary son. There is a huge hole now in the world, once filled by his infectious smile. We will meet again in heaven. I just hope they have some pool tables up there so we can play some nine-ball again.
