Audrey Smith Obituary

Audrey Blanche (Yarbrough) Smith, born October 7, 1923 passed away at 87 years old.
She was the daughter of Issac and Ruby Yarbrough. A native of Oklahoma she moved to California after World War II. She married Billy Roy Smith in 1946. She served tirelessly as a minister and Bible teacher for the Pentecostal Church of God for over 50 years. She went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 24, 2010. She passed away at home surrounded by her loved ones.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years Billy "Smitty" Smith of Lincoln Calif.; two sons, Don Smith and wife Charlotte, and Gary Smith and wife Sarah; one daughter, Brenda Smith of Sparks, Georgia; one sister Arvilla Bayless Newton of Madera, Calif.; eight grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister, one grandchild and her son-in-law.
Funeral Services were held at the Lincoln Funeral Home November 1, 2010 at 11 a.m. Burial was at the Sheridan Cemetery immediately following the service.
