Bill Robbins

Bill was born in Tyro, Arkansas; he was a graduate of Oklahoma A & M as an electrical engineer. Bill was a 2 tour Vietnam veteran in the air force who received many accommodations as a navigator on c-130's. Bill then settled in Auburn and he was the owner/operator of Auburn avionics at the Auburn airport for 11 years. In 1994 Bill and his wife Pat both retired and started traveling through the United States and made many trips to Alaska, they traveled for 18 years in their motor home. Bill was very involved in genealogy for over 10 years and discovered he was related to "Rooster Cogburn." Bill was an Elk for 16 years both in Auburn and Yuma, Arizona; he was also a member of the American Legion.
Bill is survived by his loving wife Patricia, his four children Eric, Kim, Scott and Sonya, his three step-children Pam, Gail and Robert, 19 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Gene Robbins (Doris) and sister Ruth Alrui (David) of Arkansa, plus many nieces and nephews.
Bill and his wife Pat were in Las Vegas buying their new home when Bill had a massive stroke on November 2, 2012. He passed away quietly surrounded by his wife Pat and her children and grandchildren on November 4, 2012.
