Calvin Lee Tooker was born February 20, 1982 and passed away September 16, 2010. Calvin was a lifelong resident of Roseville Calif.
Calvin was a loving son of Ken Tooker and Melinda Jimenez Fontenot. Calvin is survived by his parents, Ken Tooker and Melinda Jimenez Fontenot; his daughter, Jade Buskirk from Roseville Calif.; and his brother, Michael Tooker from Roseville Calif.
Graveside Services will be held at Roseville Cemetery, Thursday, September 23, 2010 at 2 p.m.

Calvin and I had a bond that I have learned to cherish only as an adult .
Our connection was always consistent .Calvin looked out for me no matter what I was treating him like . He was loyal and trustworthy as well as one of a kind . I genuinely feel I was one of the very few peers of his that saw this side of him . He was one of my best friends! He was endearing and melted my heart with his sweetness. He was so handsome and charming . I truly adored him. I have a love for him that I´ve only shared with a select few. I talk to him all the time. He is so special I wish I could tell him today!

My heart goes out to the Tooker family for the loss of Calvin. I know his brother, Mike. He was an encouragement to us when our son (his friend), Zack, died in 2006. The day of their death will always seem just like yesterday. It's a pain we never get over but learn how to cope with. Memories of our boys cheer us up and keep us moving forward.

To Calvin's dear family,
I did not know Calvin personally, but my son, Zack, was one of Mike's friends. I am so sorry for your loss. When Zack died four years ago, Mike was there with hugs for me. Now your family needs some hugs. We have an amazing support network in our area for families who have lost their children. I don't know what I would have done without these amazing people who have been there for me this entire time. We would like to be there for you, too. Going through a loss such as ours is impossible if we try to do it alone. I hope you will contact me so I can share more about it with you. Please know that you and your family are in our prayers.
