Dear Carver Family,
Hillis and I used to do evening shifts at the Weimer Store. My self being a military wife (USMC) we would exchange many stories about the military. We would laugh so hard sharing our stories. I grew to love Fay and Hillis so very much. I am glad I saw Hillis 2 months ago while going to the Bear River to the special place where my dogs ashes had been spread. My heart has a piece of Hillis and the many things he taught me. Three days before his death someone found a peacock feather on the path by my house. I feel lucky he said good bye to me. People used to stop and take pictures of all the beautiful peacocks gathered for the treats of cat food I would throw out in front of the store. I will never forget how he could always make me laugh. God Bless this American Hero. My heart goes out to you Fay.
