Joedy "Joe" Gene Meinhart
11/5/1948 - 3/23/2014

Joedy passed away unexpectedly on March 23, 2014. Born in San Antonio, Tex., on November 5, 1948 to Eugene and Mabry Meinhart. He graduated from Sierra High School in Whittier, Calif., in 1967. Joedy spent most of his adult life in the Northern California Sierra foothills. He loved life and the great outdoors. He could always be found riding his Harley soft-tail with friends throughout the hills. Joedy was the most loving, thoughtful, generous man anyone could hope to know.
He loved his two children; Alethea and Jason, and was a proud grandfather to River and Noah. Besides his children and grandsons, he is survived by Brenda Meinhart (dear friend and ex-wife), his best friend (since grade school) Tom (Sydney), and numerous kindred friends that will miss him dearly.
Memorial service will be Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 10:00 a.m., 4007 Taylor Rd, Loomis, Calif. Motorcycle run will start at 12:00 p.m. sharp and will finish up at the Country Club Saloon where a Celebration wake will be held.
In lieu of flowers, please consider the needs of the family. Donations will be accepted at the memorial and wake.
