Larry Flood
Larry Flood passed away on July 3, 2013 after suffering a stroke. Larry graduated from Eastern Michigan University with degrees in physics and mathematics in 1963. He also earned two Masters Degrees from Golden Gate University. Larry married Mildred Joan Brock in 1969. They lived in San Francisco and Marinwood before moving to Lincoln Hills in 2005.
Larry served in the Navy from 1963-1967. He retired from U.S. Sprint in 1999. In his retirement he was active in the Model Train and RV Clubs, and enjoyed riding his bicycle. Larry and Joan traveled often especially loving the Southwest and Lake Tahoe.
Larry is survived by his wife Joan, of Lincoln Hills; his two children Jennifer Ortlinghaus, of Santa Rosa, and David Flood, of Lincoln.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Boy Scouts of America or your local food bank.
A Celebration of Life memorial will be held Saturday, July 20th at 11:00 a.m. at the Orchard Creek Club House in Lincoln Hills.
