William Reid Walker, beloved father, brother, and friend was born in Dunsmuir California on September 16, 1925. He was called to glory on November 26, 2012.
William was a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He worked at McClellan AFB for 37 years, retiring in the early 1980's. He was a past Mason, a member of NARFE National Assoc. of Retired Federal Employees. He was also a member of several Travel Trailer clubs.
William is preceded in death by: Veloy, his wife of 52 years, one son Reed Vetterli, and one grandson Russell Lewis. He is survived by a sister June Edmiston, three children, Rose Lewis, Ross Vetterli, and VeNae Crabtree. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
A celebration of his life will be held at the Big Oak Mobile Home Part, 8300 Old Auburn Road in Citrus Heights at 1:00 p.m. on December 22, 2012. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the .
