Gary Keeler passed away February 4, 2013 at the age of 72 after a year long courageous battle with cancer. Gary was born, July 29, 1940 in Grass Valley to George "Curley" and Vivian Keeler. The family moved to Folsom in 1956 where he graduated from Folsom High School and then enlisted in the United States Navy.

He married Joy White of Meadow Vista in 1994, who was by his side through his arduous fight, never once did he complain of his illness. Gary shared his passions for classic cars, gardening and animals with his wife Joy. They attended and participated in hot rod runs, grew vegetables and flowers to share and adopted rescued animals - they were truly each other's best friend and partners for life.
