David MACARTNEY Obituary

MACARTNEY, David Edwin. Peacefully passed away on Thursday, 3rd November 2016, aged 92. Much loved husband of the late Betty and cherished father of David and Kayrene, Dianne and David and Tony and Annie. Caring grand- father to Fiona, James, Nick and Jake. A service to celebrate David's life will be held at the St John's Presbyterian Church, Ranolf Street, Rotorua, on Tuesday, November 8th 2016 at 1.30pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimer's Society. All communications to the 'Macartney Family' c/- PO Box 461, Rotorua 3040.

I remember David very well when we first came to New Zealand. My husband at the time worked for him. Betty was also godmother to one of our daughters. Such a caring person. Lorraine Howarth (Wright)
