RANDY W. LINDGREN, 65 FANTASTIC HUSBAND, A TRUE FRIEND ROCKFORD - Randy W. Lindgren, 65, of Rockford left Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, to prepare a place for us. Born Aug. 22, 1947, in Rockford, son of Lloyd and Oda (Miles) Lindgren. Married Judie Mennenga on Oct. 2, 1976. Employed by Sundstrand and Motorola. He was a licensed pilot and loved flying. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR and was an avid Denver Broncos fan. There was nothing he could not do and always fixed and repaired things for others. Randy had a deep compassion for his dogs. Survivors include wife, Judie; siblings, Wendy and Danny; his four-legged little girl, Blossom, who he would call Big Girl; numerous nieces and nephews, and they were all special; special friends who he considered family and they know who they are. Randy was a wonderful husband, a great friend and we will all miss him. The family wishes to thank Dr. Shipp and nurse, Chris. And Ran, thanks for the memories! Predeceased by parents; and his precious dogs, Bozo, Bugsy, Tyke and especially Max. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park. For more information, please visit delehantyfh.com.
