ALMON GEORGE 'BUD' HAYNES, 89 ROSCOE - Almon George "Bud" Haynes, 89, of Roscoe died at 10:50 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, in Beloit Memorial Hospital, after a sudden illness. Born March 11, 1923, in Rutland Township, Wis., the son of Marvin Otis and Lillian Elizabeth (Christensen) Haynes. Married the former Adelaide C. Ryan on Nov. 5, 1949, in Beloit, Wis. He built the family home himself in 1956, and has lived there ever since. He was employed as a consultant by Ingersoll Milling, retiring in 1980. Veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a former member of the Kinnikinnick school board and Roscoe United Methodist Church. He was a participant in 012 Vets Roll Trip to Washington, D.C. and was active in the Roscoe Fall Festivals and Northern IL Clean and Beautiful. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. Graduated from Beloit High School, Class of 1941. Survivors include wife, Adelaide Haynes of Roscoe; daughter, Kathy (Michael) Egan of Roscoe; sons, Keith (Mary Campagna) Haynes of Albany, N.Y., Robert (Bonita) Haynes of Rockton and Marvin Haynes of Rockford; daughter, Jacki (Rich) Trapp of Cherry Valley; grandchildren, Heather Haynes, Shannon (David) Wildenberg, Daniel Haynes, Mariana Egan, Ian Haynes, Myranda Trapp and Kearsten Haynes; great-grandchildren, Abby, Jaxon and Alexa; sister, Ruth (Steve) Carlson of Beloit, Wis.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents; great- granddaughter, Ashley; brothers, Dale and Marvin Jr.; and sisters, Louvia, Harriett and Gladys. Funeral ceremonies at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, at McCorkle Funeral Home, 767 N. Blackhawk Blvd., Rockton, with the Rev. Ed Greenfield officiating. Burial in Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens, South Beloit. Visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10, in the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Vets Roll, 1777 Gardner St., South Beloit, IL 61080.
