George Gaziano

GEORGE GERARD GAZIANO, 55 ROCKTON - George Gerard Gaziano, 55, of Rockton died peacefully at 11:05 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012, in his home, after a courageous two year battle with cancer. Born May 27, 1956, in Rockford to Angelo and Susan (Zammuto) Gaziano. A former resident of Phoenix, where he was a well respected attorney and a member of the Arizona Bar. He was a graduate of John Marshall Law School. Survived by his loving daughter, Gina Gaziano of Houston; mother, Susan Gaziano of Rockford; brother, Dr. Joseph (Carolyn) Gaziano of Sterling; sister, Carm (Rev. Dan) Herman of Rockton; brother, Michael (Deborah) Gaziano of Tucson, Ariz.; former wife, Minh Chau Gaziano of Houston; best friend, Dave Fuller of Chandler, Ariz.; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 1010 Ferguson St., Rockford, with visitation from 9 a.m. to time of service; the Franciscan Friars will officiate.
