Kenneth Judson

KENNETH L. JUDSON, 66 ROCKTON - Kenneth L. Judson, 66, of Rockton died Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, in his home, after a long battle with Mesothelioma cancer. He was born June 3, 1946, in New York City, the son of Arnold Bennett and Louise Annette (Cowan) Judson. Ken graduated from the University of Texas in Arlington in 1975, receiving his master of science in social work. He was a Vietnam veteran serving with the U.S. Army. Ken married Marilyn Jean Lueders on July 20, 1968, in Webster Groves, Mo. Ken was employed by Invensys Controls as the senior manager of human resources, retiring on Aug. 3, 2012. He was a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survivors include wife, Marilyn Jean Judson of Rockton; children, Heather Marie (Todd) Christopher of Herriman, Utah and Mark Christopher (Carrie) Judson of Bloomington; grandchildren, Allie and Olivia Judson; brother, Doug (Theo) Judson of Lehi, Utah; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and -nephews. Predeceased by daughter, Angela R. Judson and his parents. Service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2535 Austin Place, Beloit, Wis. Visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, in Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit. Visitation also from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday in the church. Memorials may be given in his name to the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation.
