Kip grew up in Rockford and attended Swan Hillman, Lincoln Jr. High and Jefferson High School. He was excited to be starting a new career working at Macy's. Kip was a very outgoing, fun-loving person; he loved his God and family and treasured his great friendships. The Bears, Bulls, Cubs and the Atlanta Braves were his teams. Music was Kip's passion from the time he could hold a record. He loved country, blues, rock and roll, classical, jazz; you name it, he loved it....the Beatles, Elvis, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Hendricks, Elton John. He spent hours making discs for family and friends. One of his joys was being a part-time disc jockey; he also loved a great joke, family and friends gathering for a wonderful meal, it didn't get any better than that. He loved being an uncle to Scott, Ashton and Mallory. He will be greatly missed by his family who loved him more than he could ever imagine.
