LUCILLE FANN, 75 MACHESNEY PARK - Lucille Fann, 75, of Machesney Park died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, in Rockford. Born Sept. 21, 1937, in Bon Aqua, Tenn., the daughter of Homer B. and Beulah M. (Beard) Ferguson. Worked several years assembling parts for Modern Metals, retiring in 2002. Lucille enjoyed sewing, shopping and spending time out in her backyard caring for her many flower gardens. She always picked a beautiful bouquet of flowers from her yard for her two great-granddaughters upon visiting them. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed. Survivors include son, Eugene (Carol) Fann of Rockford; granddaughter, Melissa (Scot) Prindiville of Mt. Vernon; great-granddaughters, Brooke and Ashley; mother, Beulah Ferguson; brother, Junior (Linda) Ferguson; sisters, Beatrice (Byron) Cayce, Joyce (Nelson) Choate and Rita (J.C.) Leaman; many nieces, nephews and special friends. Predeceased by her father; grandsons, Kevin and Brent; and sister and brother-in-law, Terry (Bill) Smoot. Service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Road, with visitation from 10 a.m. to time of service; Pastor Brad Rogers of Westminster Presbyterian Church will officiate. Entombment in Sunset Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
