Michele Boeke

MICHELE L. (O'DELL) BOEKE, 40 SOUTH BELOIT - Michele L. (O'Dell) Boeke, 40, of South Beloit passed away Saturday, March 22, 2014, after a 22 year battle with cancer. Born January 8, 1974, the proud daughter of Rick and Renee (Paulson) O'Dell. Michele graduated from Harlem High School, Class of 1992. She went on to marry Raymond Boeke on May 7, 1994. Michelle worked at Production Line as an office manager, and also sold Lia Sophia jewelry. She was a member of Willow Creek Presbyterian Church, and Beaver Valley Grange. She thoroughly enjoyed collecting anything Mickey Mouse, and currently possessed over 500 pieces in her collection. Michele loved Def Leopard, she attended over 20 of their concerts, and even had their autographs tattooed on her leg. Michele most enjoyed watching Sarah show horses for the Paulson Brothers Percherons at local fairs. Survivors include her parents; daughter, Sarah Boeke; brother, Brian (Marisa) O'Dell; niece, Athyna-Marie O'Dell; nephew, Bryson O'Dell; bonus nieces, Mikayla, and Nicole Barker; bonus nephew, Brad Boeke; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded by, her grandparents, Donald and Bette Paulson, and Ellsworth and Betty Jane O'Dell; and her best friend, Toby. The family wishes to thank all the doctors and nurses at OSF St. Anthony, and River Bluff Nursing Home for their care and compassion during the final weeks of Michele's life. Memorial service 3 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2014, at Willow Creek Church, 7300 Beloit Rd, Caledonia, IL, 61611. Pastor Judith March Hardie officiating. Memorial visitation 2 p.m. at the church.
