TROVOIE KENDALL HUGGINS, 44 ROCKFORD - Trovoie Kendall Huggins, 44, of Rockford, IL departed this earthly life Saturday, July 13, 2013, at his home. He was born February 25, 1969, in Freeport, IL; the son of Willie Mae Huggins and B.J. Blake. Trovoie lived in Rockford since 1972, coming from Freeport. He was employed as an salesman at Jacks Auto Sales for several years before getting into real estate. He attended Auburn High School. Trovoie leaves to cherish many loving memoires, two daughters, Raven Huggins and Keagan Huggins; two sons, Demario Hobson and Christopher Huggins; three sisters, Retha (Craig) Patterson, Laverne Huggins, and Sherry (Patrick) Redmond; three brothers, Wade, Charles, and George Huggins; five grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father B.J. Blake. Services will be held 12 noon Friday, July 19, 2013, at Ephesians Missionary Baptist Church, 1112 Taylor Street, with Pastor Norris Flannigan officiating. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Arrangements completed by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home, 2429 W. State Street.
