WILLIAM 'BILL' V. LANG, 57 ROCKTON - William "Bill" V. Lang, 57, of Rockton died at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, in Rockford Memorial Hospital, after a sudden illness. Born Nov. 10, 1955, in Rockford to Ross and Thelma L. (Mason) Lang. Live in the Rockton area since 1967. A graduate of Hononegah High School, Class of 1974. Married the former Linda Ainley on June 25, 1988, in Beloit, Wis. He was employed as a night foreman by Rock Valley Oil and Chemical. Bill was an avid Green Bay Packer fan, enjoyed camping and drag racing, and loved his corvette. He also enjoyed spending time with all his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Linda Lang of Rockton; daughter, Christa (Joe) Perez of Loves Park; sons, Jason Fink and Jeremy Fink, both of Rockford, and Jonathan Fink of Byron; grandchildren, Alexis, Kyla, Caleb, Lilly, Libby, Ruby, and Antonio; brothers, Gary (Debbie) Lang, and Roger (Debbie) Lang; sister, Debbie (Jim) Alexander; special uncle Larry Mason; two aunts; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Anita and Russ Patterson, and Dale and Nina Jensen. He was preceded in death by his parents; and special friend, Barry Patterson. Memorial ceremonies at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 2, in McCorkle Funeral Home, 767 N. Blackhawk Blvd., Rockton, with the Rev.
