I worked with Gil at channel 23 and he was such a great guy. I remember his pride in his children and his obvious love for his wife. I also remember him bringing in the most amazing tamales around the holidays. I'm sad for his family and their loss, but so happy I had the chance to know him.

No words can express how sad and sorry we are about the loss of Gilberto. We have been blessed to have had him in our lives. I know that someday we will all be together again laughing, dancing, and playing some good old volleyball like we enjoyed. Gilberto was an amazing person who will be truley missed. Maria, Kayla, and Chaz we are here for you no matter what.

Maria, kayla, and Chazz, your husband, dad and close friend of the familly will be truly be missed....He will always be in our hearts because he made so many beautiful memories with his video camera. I will miss his smile especially when he would bring GUMBALLS for the kids. My Jazmin says that "Gil is not sad nor having owwweees in his body.
