Dear Ben Brock: (6/1/11)
My condolences to you on the loss of your father Melvin L. Brock. When we both worked at Ipsen, I remember going to your mother's funeral way out on West State St.
I think of you often, Ben. I remember telling you that if I ever had a son, I would like him to be like you.
I am 76 now and Gunnel will reach the same age this Sept. We are doing fine, slowed down by old age. I see that you are 54 now, according to FIND ANYONE. I hope you and family are doing well. You re-married a lady from Spooner?
I understand you went to NIU and also received an EE degree. Great! I ate steak with Associate Prof. of EE at NIU, Don Zinger, at the annual local IEEE picnic last Thursday.
It has been about 25 years since I left Ipsen. Ted Jacobs was at Independence Village; Jimmy, the world wide service man, is teaching service now; and Ken Lesher passed away years ago.
Hope you get a lot of fishing and hunting up in "God's country." My late cousin owned a cottage on Long Lake, and one time he drove us to a large antique shop in Stillwater.
Wishing you the very best, always,
Dennis G. Eksten,

Ben,
I am sorry to read of your father's passing. Please accept my condolences to you and your family. Many years have passed since our days at Ipsen. Hard to believe just how long it's been.
