Jennifer Rodriguez-Ford, of Rockford departed this life, December 11, 2018. She was born July 17, 1974 in Cotulla, Texas the daughter of Nora Castor and Santos Rodriguez Jr. Jennifer lived in Rockford 25 years coming from Belvidere, IL. She married Gerry Ford, May 4, 2002 in Rockford. Jennifer was employed as a Donor Specialist by Rock River Valley Blood Center 19 years. She was a member of Christian Growth Center, serving as an Hospitality Host. She attended Belvidere High School later to receive her G.E.D.
Jennifer leaves to cherish many loving memories, her husband Gerry; two sons, Gerry Ford, Jr., and Elisha Ford; two daughters, Jasena Ford and Amariana Ford; five grandchildren; father, Santos Rodriguez Jr., sister, Christina (Torrey) Turner; brother, Santos Rodriguez III; mother in law, Laura Ford; a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her mother.
Services will be held 12:00 p.m. Friday December 21, 2018 at St Luke Missionary Baptist Church 2919 19th Street. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Arrangements completed by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave.
