I am so sorry to hear about Jeremy. I went to High School with him, and although we have not spoken since High School I still remember him. He managed to get along with everybody and I cannot think of a single person that ever had a problem with him. I know words are not enough in this situation but know that he definately impacted a lot of people's lives in a very positive way.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Aniballi & Izzo Families in this time of sorrow. I didn't know Jeremy personally, but know what a great guy he was. I work with Dave and he talked of him constantly. He was so proud of him. I followed stories of Jeremy in the Joliet Herald News and know how everyone loved him. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He touched so many lives in ways that meant so much; with such kindness and deep appreciation. He would thank the JCA band for coming to play at the games for the basketball team. He would also acknowledge the efforts of all students in ways only the students know, he inspired them to learn. He never forgot anyone and he treated each as an individual and with a great deal of respect. Thank you for being such a special part of your students lives, they will remember you always!

To the family of Jeremy,
We had the honor of meeting Jeremy when he was at Illinois and in grad school with our daughter, Gina Sabbia. What a wonderful young man and Nick loved talking sports with him. We knew of his surgery as we all had brunch together when he was in town during the Christmas season awhile back. He was heading back to his job down South. Later on we heard he had his coaching job and we were thrilled for him since that was his dream. It is with a very heavy heart that we heard of his passing. Our deepest sympathy to the whole family. He will be missed by so many people that he touched in his short life. We are remembering him in our prayers and all of you are in our thoughts as you say your final good-byes to such a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, grandson and nephew. He will be missed by many.

I was two years behind Izzo in high school and knew him as our basketball manager, but he was far more than that. He wasn't able to play because the doctors said it was too dangerous. He was a teammate who, in spirit, played beside you everyday, in practice and the game. He would pick you up when the coach pulled you out after making a mistake. He kept you laughing in the locker room before and after games. He also spoke to you during school even when he didn't have to....& for one day, I was fortunate enough to help him live his dream as a basketball coach. It is a true shame that a man with such a good heart possibly dies because of a bad heart... I love you, and miss you Jeremy. Lets play HORSE when I see you again.

Until we personally pass through the gates of Heaven, we struggle to understand why God calls those with so much to offer. Jeremy was an incredible man who inspired so many students to achieve their full potential. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Izzo, Aniballi and Buker families. Jeremy will be remembered as a loving husband and father, a great teacher, a passionate basketball coach and most of all, a wonderful friend. He is truly missed.

Dear John,Laura,Dave,Josh and Jessica,
We were so very sad to hear of Jeremy's passing. We can't imagine the unbearable grief and tremendous loss of your loving son and brother. Jeremy lived his life to the fullest and he inspired so many to do the same. He accomplished so very much in a life that was too short. We always loved hearing and reading about the many successes that he achieved in his life. What a special gift and a blessing Jeremy was to all those whose lives he touched forever. He truly was an inspiration to all of us. Our hearts, thoughts and prayers are with all of you, and with Jeremy's wife, Mindy and daughter Addison, at this most difficult time.

I worked with Jeremy and Mindy during their time at Wake Forest University. I am absolutely devastated to hear about Jeremy's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with Mindy and Addison, as well as the entire Izzo family. Jeremy was such a kind and thoughtful person and he & Mindy were (and still are) very loved by the Wake Forest community. I pray that at some point you will be able to find comfort in the knowledge that this life is temporary but heaven is eternal . . . you will get to enjoy a reunion with Jeremy that will have no end!

To the Izzo family- Jeremy was really one of the best guys out there. You really raised him right. I went to grade school with him. At a time when things weren't always so great, he always made sure to be nice to me. I always thought it was a shame that he had to give up playing ball, but now I see that made him a great coach and teacher. Your loss has inspired me to be a better person, do better things.
To Mindy-I know we have never met but I hope you know there are a lot of people thinking about you and your beautiful daughter right now.
All my deepest Sympathies

Dear Mindy, Addison, John, Laura, Joshua and Jessica: I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Jeremy. Jeremy was an inspiration to many. I will never forget the conversations I have had with Jeremy regarding teaching and coaching. I knew he would be successful in every direction he chose. I will always remember watching him play on the basketball court at Lincoln School and at Nazareth. He moved on to be my biggest hero when Illinois played. Auntie Peggy was so proud of him. He will always be remembered as J.D. to us in our family. Addison will carry on his talents and love within her. I love you J.D! You will rest in my heart!

Dear Johnny, Laura, and family
My heart just breaks for you. They have a word for when a spouse dies, a word for when your parents die, but no word for when a parent loses a child, because words just can't express the hurt. You are in my thoughts and prayers and I know Auntie Joni and Uncle Jack are hugging him so tight so that he's not afraid.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you at this very sad time. I will always have such fond memories of JD as a little boy wrestling in the living room, playing his donkeykong games and his face when you would feed him lemons. He was such a nice young man and will be missed a great deal. Hoping many good memories will help you and your family in this difficult time. My deepest sympathy.
