Rebecca A. Finkenhofer, 16, of Machesney Park, passed away December 28, 2016, at her home. Born September 13, 2000, in Rockford, the daughter of Timothy Finkenhofer & Megan (Puckett) Cabay. Survivors include parents, Megan Cabay and Timothy (girlfriend, Tabitha), 3 brothers; 1 sister; 1 stepsister; maternal and paternal grandparents; great-grandparents; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; best friend, Sinclair Drysdale. In honor of Rebecca's love for the colors purple & blue, the family has asked everyone to wear purple or blue attire. Memorial service will be 7 p.m. Monday, January 2, 2017, at Harvest Bible Chapel of Rockford, 5501 Windsor Rd, Loves Park, IL 61111, with a visitation from 5 p.m. to service time. We had the pleasure of knowing Becky for a short time. She was a beautiful child. We pray that she is safe and free from pain in God's arms. May God be with her family & friends affected by her life ended so young.
