THOMAS A. WOLF, 54 MCFARLAND, Wis. - Thomas A. Wolf, 54, of McFarland died Tuesday, March 10, 2009, in his parent's home, following a sudden illness. Born Oct. 16, 1954, in Belvidere, Ill., the son of William A. and Sara (Tyson) Wolf. He resided in McFarland for the past 12 years, going there from Belvidere. He was employed as a truck equipment sales representative for Northland Equipment Co. Member of St. James Catholic Church. Tom enjoyed boating and was very creative with his hands. He was known as a "Mr. Fix-it" by his family. Graduated from Belvidere High School, Class of 1972. He attended University of Wisconsin-Plattville and Northern Illinois University. Survived by sons, Nicholas (Sarah Anderson-Wolf) Wolf of Huntley, Ill., Joseph Wolf and Franklin Wolf, both of McFarland; granddaughter, Kendall Wolf; and grandson, Ethan Wolf; parents, "Bill" and Sara Wolf; brothers, John (Candy) Wolf, Michael (Joyce) Wolf, Christopher Wolf, all of Belvidere; sister, Callie (James) Marrs of Garden Prairie, Ill.; many nieces and nephews, Janna (Dan) Earley, Scott Wolf, Mitchell Wolf, Matthew Wolf, Mary Allison Wolf, Stephen Wolf, Aaron Wolf, Alex Wolf, Katie Marrs, Gregory (Kathleen) Marrs, Lisa Marrs and Jeffrey Marrs. Predeceased by grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Wolf and Dr. and Mrs. E.H. Tyson; and nephew, David Wolf. The Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Monday, March 16, in St. James Catholic Church, with the Rev. Brian Geary, pastor and celebrant. Cremation will take place after Mass, with burial at a later date. Visitation from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 15, in the Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Funeral Home, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, Ill. Dear Bill and Sara: I'm so sorry to learn of Tom's passing. He was a good guy and a good salesman. I bought my second new car from Tom in 1975,and have fond memories of him.
