Mrs. Crowell (Miss Lambert} was my 1st grade teacher in 1936. She was VERY special and I have thought of her very frequently over the years. Mt. Morris was fortunate to have teachers of her caliber and those of us who had her for a teacher were richly blessed. God bless you all and give you peace and comfort. Jim Samsel---Raleigh, NC

Mrs. Crowell was my first grade teacher. She is the one I credit to my peers/mentors on my spelling abilities. She was an excellent teacher and a wonderful person. I have thought of her many times in my adult life. May she rest in peace.
