ELIZABETH WEBB, 60 ROCKFORD - Anne Elizabeth Webb, 60, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2013, surrounded by family and friends, in Rockford Memorial Hospital after battling many illnesses. "Libby", as she was nicknamed, was born September 30, 1952, in Pusan, South Korea. Libby was the first Korean-American war orphan adopted after the Korean War. She was adopted by Russell and Eloise Anderson. She was married in 1975 to her long-time high school friend, Terry Webb, and would enjoy 37 years of married bliss. Anne was an avid reader, devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. Her strength and selflessness were an inspiration to everyone who knew her. Anne is survived by her husband, Terry; 2 children, Christopher (Joan) Webb, Courtney (Adam) DeRemer; 3 grandchildren, Jackson and Lauren Webb, Brynn DeRemer; stepmother, Rita; 2 brothers, Russell (Julie) Anderson, Krist (Erika) Anderson; sister, Katie (Mark) Taber; the Snell/Orseno families, especially Susan and Vito and children, our loving second family. Anne is predeceased by daughter, Elizabeth Anne Webb; parents; sister, Mary Anderson. Anne's life will be celebrated on Saturday, April 13, 2013, in a memorial service at Honquest Family Funeral Home, 4311 N. Mulford Rd., Loves Park, IL, 61111.
