ANNIE GADISON, 82 ROCKFORD - Annie L. (Marks) Gadison, 82, of Rockford passed away Friday May 11, 2012, in Rockford Memorial Hospital, after a long illness. Born June 5, 1929, in Arkansas, daughter of Charles H. and Nobie Marks. Attended schools in Arkansas. Married Charlie B. Hall. She moved to Rockford in 1949, with her husband, and sister, Lena Marks. A number of years later after divorcing Charlie B. Hall, she married J.T. "Mike" Gadison, remaining married till her death. Annie was a faithful charter member of The King James Version M.B. Church, serving on the Nurses and Mothers Boards. Survived by husband, J.T. "Mike," Gadison; daughter, Johnnie Mae Taylor; son, the Rev. James (Linda) Marks; sister, Everlee Marks; four grandchildren; numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren; niece, Mary Stanley of Cincinnati; many relatives and friends. Predeceased by parents; brother, W.A. Marks; sisters, Lessie Debrow and Lena Marks; and grandsons, James E. Marks II and Larry D. Powell. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 19, at The King James Version M.B. Church, 1202 N. Main St., with burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation from 10 a.m. to service time Saturday at the church. Arrangements by Collins And Stone Funeral Home, 128 S. Fifth St.
