AUDREY J. GREENLEE, 85 DURAND - Audrey J. Greenlee, 85, was welcomed into heaven on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, in her home, surrounded by her family and friends. Born Aug. 12, 1927, in Ottawa to Ralph and Gladys (Mathias) Fishburn. She married George Greenlee in 1947. Audrey worked for many years at a factory in Genoa, Union 76 Truck Stop, and retired as a cashier from K-Mart. She loved baking, cooking and crafts, but most of all loved for everyone to be in harmony. Survived by grandchildren, Gary (Alma), Anthony and Dawn Sadewater, and Kurt Brooks; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Jayden and Amanda; brother, Dale (Marilyn) Fishburn; sisters, Joyce Avery, Judy (Bill) Mears; son-in-law, James Sadewater; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband, George; son, George Jr.; daughter, Sandra; brothers, Donald, Kenneth and Frank; sisters, Lois, Joan and Marlene. Memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory, Rockford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, with visitation from 10:30 a.m. to time of service. Burial in Marengo Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of America, 3815 N. Mulford Rd., Rockford, IL 61114.
