Barbara Gayle Coblentz ROCKFORD - Barbara Gayle Coblentz passed away at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center, surrounded by her family. The world has lost one of its finest people. A great lady of selfless courage and dedication to others makes her passing a very difficult loss to family and friends. She was a beautiful woman, but her true beauty shone brightly in her constant efforts to keep her family healthy, well mannered, decent, polite, well educated and God fearing. This is not an easy task with five children, a husband and two dogs, but a happier home could not be found. All credit to a wife and mother who worked hard and never complained; kept the family budget workable, and loved all under her care. May God accept you and love you. We will not forget you. Thank you for loving us. Barbara is survived by husband, Thomas; daughter, Anne; sons, John, Peter (Maureen), Patrick (Patricia) and Paul; and sister, Judith (James) Gaskell. Service at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 5, at Cremation Society of Illinois, 6825 Weaver Road. Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, at the cremation society, and from 10 a.m. Friday to time of service.
